We have been authorized to provide excursion services by the Health Department of our state of Baja California Sur (BCS). Our authorization was granted once we passed the training courses and testing that are required of tourism service providers.

The link in the paragrph below shows the status of the state of the disease in BCS. The bulk of the outbreaks have been and are taking place in the most densly populated areas of the state, specifically La Paz, San Jose del Cabo, and Cabo San Lucas. These numbers DO NOT REFLECT the state of outbreaks in our municipality which is, Loreto, Baja California Sur.
Baja California Sur is the least populated state in the Republic of México. Loreto is the fourth most populated municipality in the state of BCS with an area of 4,419 Km2 and a total population of 22,145 persons. Loreto Blue Whales is a small family business with only one boat. We have limited contact with the public because we do not operate with large groups of people, only with individual excursionists on a one on one basis. We have gone above and beyond the Covid-19 state protocols and have a firm understanding of the biology and chemistry of the virus and how to prevent its spread.
